 Optimizer 2003 Pro Football Edition

FACTORS

TEAM:
Team whose games you wish to analyze. Blank selects "home team."

SURFACE:
Grass or artificial turf. Blank includes both surfaces.

OPPONENT:
Specifies opponent for selected team. Using this factor you can select opponents in same division (=DIV), same conference (=CONF), different division (<>DIV), and different conference (<>CONF) as the selected team. Blank includes all teams.

TYPE:
Regular or post-season games. Blank includes both types.

SEASON RANGE:
Select a first year and a last year. To select a particular year, select the same year for both first and last. Blank includes all years.

MONTH:
August through January. Blank includes all months.

DAY OF WEEK:
Select a day of the week. See how a team does on Monday Nights. For One and Two Games Back, you have the added option of Bye Week. Blank includes all days of Week.

SPREAD RANGE:
Select minimum and maximum spread for selected team. For example, to select games in which the selected team is a 4 to 12 point underdog, select 4 for min and 12 for max. Blank includes all spreads.

OVER/UNDER RANGE:
Select minimum and maximum over/under range for the selected games. Blank includes all.

TEAM'S LAST GAME W or L:
W indicates that the selected team won their last game; L denotes loss. Blank includes all.

TEAM'S LAST GAME H or V:
H indicates that selected team played their last game at home; V denotes on the road. Blank includes all.

TEAM'S LAST GAME O or U:
O indicates that selected team's last game was over, U denotes under. Blank includes all.

TEAM'S LAST OPPONENT:
Specifies the selected team's previous opponent. Blank includes all opponents. Using this factor you can select opponents in same division (=DIV), same conference (=CONF), different division (<>DIV), and different conference (<>CONF) as the selected team. Blank includes all teams.

TEAM'S LAST SPREAD RANGE:
Select minimum and maximum. For example, to specify games in which the selected team was a 3 to 10 point favorite in their previous game, select -3 for min and -10 for max. Blank includes all spreads.

TEAM'S LAST SCORE RANGE:
Select minimum and maximum. For example, to specify games in which the selected team scored between 14 and 35 points in their previous game, select 14 for min and 35 for max. Blank includes all previous scores.

TEAM'S LAST POINTS AGAINST: Select minimum and maximum. For example, to specify games in which the selected team had between 0 and 10 points scored against them in their previous game, select 0 for min and 10 for max. Blank includes all.

TEAM'S LAST SCORE DIFF:
Select minimum and maximum. For example, to specify games in which the selected team won their last game by between 3 and 7 points (score difference between 3 and 7), select 3 for min and 7 for max. To specify games in which the difference in score in the selected team's last game was between -3 and 3 points, select -3 for min and 3 for max. Blank includes all previous differences in score.

OPPONENT'S LAST GAME FACTORS:
Same as TEAM'S last game factors above except that they apply to the opponent of the selected team. For example, to specify games in which the selected team's current opponent played on the road in their previous game, select V for Opponent's last game H or V. To specify games in which the selected team's current opponent scored between 0 and 7 points in their previous game, select 0 for Opponent's last score min and 7 for Opponent's last score max. To specify games in which the selected team's current opponent's previous game went over, select O for Opponent's last game O or U. As usual, blank includes all values.

2 GAMES BACK, TEAM and OPPONENT:
Same as last game factors, except 2 games back rather than last game.

WIN % TO DATE: Gives win percentage to date for selected team or selected opponent. For example, to select all games in which Miami has won 30-50% of their games up to that point in the season, select Miami for team, 30 for win % to date min, and 50 for team win % to date max.
