How does the Affiliate program work? Does it cost anything to become an Affiliate? Can anyone become an Affiliate? How often will I get paid? What are my responsibilities as an affiliate? What is a second tier affiliate? How does the Affiliate program work? The implementation is simple. Once you sign up for our Affiliate program, you log into a password-protected web page to get a piece of HTML code that you insert into your web page(s). An unobtrusive banner ad then sends customers to us and earns you money. The process is fully automated. When a potential customer clicks on your Snoop Data link, a "cookie" is stored on their browser that identifies your website. The cookie lasts for ninety days, so that even if the customer doesn't purchase anything on their first visit to our website, any purchase within 90 days of their initial visit will be automatically credited to your account. Does it cost anything to become an Affiliate? No, it is absolutely free to become a Snoop Data affiliate and you can cancel your participation in the program at any time. Can anyone become an Affiliate? Anyone with a Web site is eligible to become a Snoop Data Affiliate. If you do not currently have a site, it's easy enough to get one through an online service that offers free Web space. How often will I get paid? Commission is paid once per month, provided that you have accrued more than $50 in your Affiliate account. If you have not accrued $50 in a given month, the money in your account rolls over to the next month. Once you've signed up, you can view your account balance and other details through a password-protected area on our website. What are my responsibilities as a Snoop Data Affiliate? You are responsible for setting up the links to Snoop Data's website on your website and directing your audience to visit our site. You should not alter the links in anyway in order to receive credit for all of your sales. What is a second tier affiliate? If you are a Snoop Data affiliate, a "second tier affiliate" is any new affiliate website that you refer to us. To facilitate this, simply post our "Become a Snoop Data Affiliate" link on your website. Anyone who clicks on this banner will be sent to our affiliate sign-up page and automatically marked as your referral. When your referral becomes a Snoop Data affiliate, you will receive 5% of each of its sales. This is in addition to the 10% of sales that come directly from your website! Everything is automated. Once you've posted the "Become a Snoop Data Affiliate" link you don't have to do anything except spread the word. To get the HTML code for the "Become a Snoop Data Affiliate" link, simply log in to our Affiliate Manager and go to the "Get Your Link" page (same page where you got your Optimizer banners).
